2026 SVK 첫 야외 자율 플리마켓 후기

2026년 6월 27일 토요일, John D. Morgan Park에서 SVK 첫 야외 자율 플리마켓(바자회)이 열렸습니다!
오전 9시부터 오후 1시까지 진행된 이번 행사에는 많은 이웃분들이 돗자리와 함께 안 쓰는 물건들, 그리고 따뜻한 나눔의 마음을 가득 들고 찾아주셨습니다.
여러 군데 펼쳐진 돗자리 마켓에서는 자유롭게 거래와 기부가 이루어졌고, 스낵 코너와 SVKBC에서 준비한 배드민턴 및 액티비티 스테이션 덕분에 다 같이 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다. 특히 아이들과 강아지들도 함께 어우러져 제대로 된 주말 피크닉 분위기를 즐길 수 있었습니다. SVKBC 배드민턴 클럽에서 함께 해주셔서 너무나 힘이났던 시간이었습니다!
이번 바자회 수익금과 따뜻한 마음으로 모인 장난감들은 CHONC Pediatric Hospital
에 잘 전달되었습니다. 소중한 마음이 아이들에게 잘 전달되어 작은 기쁨과 힘이 되길 바랍니다.
SVK에서 처음 진행해 본 야외 바자회였지만, 함께해 주신 분들 덕분에 기대 이상으로 알차고 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다. 화려한 세팅이나 큰 규모보다, 이 지역 사회에 다 같이 공헌하고자 하는 마음 하나로 모일 수 있어 더욱 의미 있었습니다.
적은 인원으로 만들어가는 행사라 다소 부족한 점이 있었더라도 너그럽게 이해해 주셔서 감사드리며, 앞으로도 소통하고 나누며 따뜻한 실리콘밸리 한인 사회를 함께 만들어 가면 좋겠습니다. 참여해 주신 모든 분들께 진심으로 감사드립니다!
SVK 1st Outdoor Flea Market & Charity Bazaar Recap
On Saturday, June 27th, 2026, we hosted our very first SVK Outdoor Flea Market & Charity Bazaar at John D. Morgan Park!
From 9 AM to 1 PM, local families and neighbors gathered with picnic blankets, gently-used items, and big hearts. The park was filled with vibrant blanket shops, cheerful badminton games co-hosted by SVKBC, family activities, and tasty snacks. Seeing kids and dogs enjoying the park made it a perfect weekend morning.
Thanks to everyone’s generosity, all proceeds from the event and donated toys were delivered to the CHONC Pediatric Hospital. We hope these gifts bring smiles to young patients and their families.
Though this was our first attempt at organizing an outdoor market with a small team, it was filled with genuine care, connection, and a shared desire to give back to our community. More than fancy setups or massive crowds, your participation made this event truly meaningful.
Thank you for your warm understanding, support, and active participation. We look forward to building an even stronger, kinder, and more connected Korean community in Silicon Valley together!
